Buckland Past & Present
No.1: The manager in control (not!)
Manager, Roy Holmes, on a night out during the club's tour of Holland in 1985.

"I ride a Honda Express"
"Now where's the bar?"
As Buckland's Public Relations Officer, I would like to make an urgent plea to everyone who has been connected with the club from the time of it's emergence in 1977.
I would like to write an item about the club for MegaBUCK$ and particularly for the Herald Express introducing Buckland Athletic Football Club to those who are unaware of the club, it's history, it's success and it's facilities (in particular The Keyberry).
In our short history we have developed in great leaps and bounds. In order that we maintain our development we must:
...gain the interest of people in and around the area...
...draft in more youngsters in order to re-establish our Under-16 and Under-18 sides.
...maintain good public relations through the media.

"I drive a Honda Express"

"Seems like a nice boy"
Although I have known the nucleus of the First Team since they were thirteen, my knowledge of the club is limited.
The club goes back beyond it's current 'Senior' squad and so I desperately need as much information about the early days, it's progression, the development of the other sides within the club and the Social Club facilities available at The Keyberry.
So please write to me if you can help me in any way Please mark the envelope: 'BUCKLAND PAST AND PRESENT' and send it to:
